The game
Guide Pac-Man through the maze, eating every dot while avoiding Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde. Clearing all dots advances to the next maze. Power pellets temporarily turn the ghosts blue so Pac-Man can eat them for escalating bonus points.

Original configuration
Each browser load or reset starts with 99 credits. Starting a one-player game spends one credit; two players spend two. C still inserts a coin.
The browser uses the original upright defaults: one coin per credit, three lives, a bonus life at 10,000 points, normal difficulty, and the normal ghost names. Two-player games alternate turns. One browser controller is wired to both original joystick harnesses so it also controls Player 2 in cocktail mode.
About this port
This is a literal, address-specialized WebAssembly translation of the original 1980 Midway-licensed Namco Z80 program. It begins at the original reset vector and preserves the self-test, attract mode, credit bookkeeping, interrupts, frame timing, graphics data, palette lookup, sprites, and three-voice waveform sound hardware.
The original boot sequence runs visibly at maximum speed, then normal timing resumes.
